Game Analysis and Explanation

Mon Feb 01, 2016 4:14 pmWelcome to the game Katalyst! This game is forum based but still very exciting and entertaining.
Characters:
Each user can have one character at a time. Their character will be represented as their profile avatar. At the beginning of the game, you will be required to choose between three characters. Throughout the game, you can obtain and collect various characters by competing in tournaments, buying characters with coins, or unlocking them in chests.
Cards:
Each user can have up to maximum of 16 cards in their possession, but can only use 4 of them per battle. You will have the right to use certain cards by leveling up, collecting them in chests or winning them in tournaments. There are three types of cards, "Resource", "Attack", and "Counter" cards. Each card has it's own strengths and weaknesses. For example, the "Mana Tree" is a "Resource Card" that costs 4 Mana to use, gives the user 2 Mana per turn but decreases all the attack cards' damages by 1.
Note: All "Resource Cards" last for a specific amount of turns. There can only be one "Resource Card" that the user controls at a time; meaning the player has to wait for the card to run out in order to play it again.
Mana:
Every battle each user will start out with 10 Mana. At the beginning of a user's turn, they will receive 2 Mana that they can use towards playing 1 of their 4 cards.

Fri Feb 26, 2016 8:02 pmDoes the Mana Tree give two extra mana each turn, because it sounds like it provides the same amount as normal?
